South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance Executive Director
South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance's (SDPAA's) Executive Director is a new, full time regular position. The Executive Director is the principal executive officer of the Pool and acts on behalf of and reports to the SDPAA Executive Director Committee.  The Executive Director supervises and controls the day to day operations of the Pool and carries out the policy of the organization as established by the Board. These duties include providing administrative leadership, implementing and monitoring policies, marketing, financial analysis, vendor management, serving as board and member liaison and program development.

South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance
Since 1987, the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance (SDPAA) has been helping municipalities, counties, townships, conservation districts, and special districts protect their assets by providing broad specialized coverages and outstanding risk management and loss control services at competitive, stable pricing. The SDPAA currently provides the following coverages: General Liability, Automobile Liability, Public Officials Liability, Law Enforcement Liability, Property, Vehicle Physical Damage, Boiler and Machinery, Enhanced Crime, and Cyber Liability. David Pfeifle joined the Municipal League staff as the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance's Executive Director in January 2018.
